April 4 2015 WIPocalypse.

Where the time has gone? Its April and another WIPocalypse to report.
Lets see what I have done.

I finished the first part of Angie's Fleurs Du Ciel. I am loving how it is coming out.

There was an Easter SAL started on a FB page. As I dont celebrate it I will change the words to Spring. Here is a start :-

I started Angie's 2nd project called Carre Rose. This is how much I managed to do.

Another SAL started called the St. Patrick SAL. I chose a freebie from Ink Circles 2006 March. I am doing it with some green hand dyed floss.

HAED SK Trick or Treat also got some love.

Before and After.

Heart Note Alley.
First picture shows how much I had done. I started this piece for 2 spring sals. I have almost completed Part 4. There is a really very sad story behind this project. It hurts me so much, but the progression is making me forget it.

The Mighty Oak I am doing for a Sampler SAL.

Perfect Poinsettias. This is a kit from a UK magazine. I used to buy loads of magazines earlier. Now all the designs look the same so I have stopped buying. This is called Perfect Poinsettia.

Another HAED I am doing. This year's Yuku SAL QS Hearth of Gold.

EMS August Gladiolus showed some progress too.

I stitched on many projects, but didnt finish any.
The question for this month is :-

Which specialty stitches do you love doing on projects? Which do you dread?

I have done many specialty stitches and I have learnt with practice even the hard ones become easy. I love doing French knots, though I cheat and use beads lol. I love satin stitch, lazy daisy. For which ones I dread I should say the ones I havent done yet. I am hoping to start the Papillon design Around the world different stitches then I will realise I guess. Wish me luck.

March Check In for 2015 Flower of the Month SAL.

March: Jonquil
This is one of the first flowers of spring. It is a symbol of rebirth and rejuvenation. It also conveys a message of warmth and regard. Jonquil is a famous flower associated with easter in some countries. During the Chinese New Year, this flower is commonly used for decoration.

Above is a little history of the March flower. I finished this back in 2011.

I didnt stitch on any of my remaining flowers in March. Just didnt have the time.

This check in in for the 2015 Flower of the Month SAL.

Smalls SAL 2015 – March Check-In.

I am really late with the Small SAL update. I have really been busy in March with
my mum's patchwork and other stuff.
From April I really must try to be on time.

At first I thought I had not stitched any smalls. After checking I found I had started a few new smalls for FB sals.

First was for Easter, As I dont celebrate it I will change the Easter words to Spring. Here is the start.

Second was for St. Patrick SAL.
I chose Ink Circles 2006 March freebie.
I am using some green hand dyed floss I had got and a light brown fabric.

Thats all for this edition.

March Turtle Trot.

I am very late with my update of March Turtle Trot also. I havent been good at anything in March. March came and went I never even realised I feel sometimes.

Well I finally started another Turtle Trot. Angie's Carre Rose. Here is a small update. Not much yet.

I finished one more Turtle Trot.
EMS July Larkspur.

I worked more on EMS August Gladiolus.

Some more done on HAED QS Hearth Of Gold.

And finally I finished Part 1 of Angie's Fleur Du Ciel.

YOTA MARCH - HAED SK TRICK OR TREAT

I am really, really late with the March YOTA update. March was not such a great month as I thought it would be.

I didnt take a stitch in my HAED. I feel sad about it. I dont know why, but whenever I take it in my hand I cant stitch on it.

Here is my picture.
