Lets see what I have done.
I finished the first part of Angie's Fleurs Du Ciel. I am loving how it is coming out.
There was an Easter SAL started on a FB page. As I dont celebrate it I will change the words to Spring. Here is a start :-
I started Angie's 2nd project called Carre Rose. This is how much I managed to do.
Another SAL started called the St. Patrick SAL. I chose a freebie from Ink Circles 2006 March. I am doing it with some green hand dyed floss.
HAED SK Trick or Treat also got some love.
Before and After.
Heart Note Alley.
First picture shows how much I had done. I started this piece for 2 spring sals. I have almost completed Part 4. There is a really very sad story behind this project. It hurts me so much, but the progression is making me forget it.
The Mighty Oak I am doing for a Sampler SAL.
Perfect Poinsettias. This is a kit from a UK magazine. I used to buy loads of magazines earlier. Now all the designs look the same so I have stopped buying. This is called Perfect Poinsettia.
EMS August Gladiolus showed some progress too.
I stitched on many projects, but didnt finish any.
The question for this month is :-
Which specialty stitches do you love doing on projects? Which do you dread?
I have done many specialty stitches and I have learnt with practice even the hard ones become easy. I love doing French knots, though I cheat and use beads lol. I love satin stitch, lazy daisy. For which ones I dread I should say the ones I havent done yet. I am hoping to start the Papillon design Around the world different stitches then I will realise I guess. Wish me luck.
Fatema, I'm amazed how you manage all these beautiful projects. Great progress !!
